JOSHUA FRANCIS

Joshua Francis, a Houston, Texas native, is a recent graduate of Alabama State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance. He has received extensive training at Houston's Movement Lab and the Contemporary Institute Dance Studio. A 2020 graduate of Kinder High School for the Performing & Visual Arts.  Joshua has worked and trained with renowned artists such as Sidra Bell, Roderick George, Crystal Perkins, Justin Prescott, Kurt Douglas, Karina Gonzales, and Ronald K. Brown. In 2023, he performed in the faculty piece "Dilemma" at the ACDA National Dance Conference in Long Beach, California. Joshua will perform Jessie’s work, DPRTRE7, at {254}DANCEFEST in Waco, TX this January.
